: Entryway Organizer in Espresso - Prepac Furniture - EEL-3369
After seeing something similar during our house search, I searched and searched for some way to organize my 7 & 9 year old's 'stuff' as soon as they walked in the door. There were many other cubbies that I liked for hundreds of dollars more, but I finally settled on these after seeing mostly positive reviews.

I must say that most of what I saw in the reviews was very accurate. Some mentioned that they were slightly smaller than they seem in illustrations and I found that to be true, but it was in some ways a pleasant surprise as they are an adequate size. Although, I could have stood for them to be a little larger, they are certainly big enough for book bags, shoes, coats and other outerwear. And we did not need to relocate other items from the mudroom/laundry room as we had originally planned. It would have been nice to have a little more space for additional shoes, or sporting equipment like some of the more pricey ones, but that was not a deal breaker.

Others also mentioned that it was a bear to put together. My husband concurred. But with that said, he was able to put it together in about a day. A sun up to sun down day, but a day :-).

All in all I am very happy with it as it has achieved the intended purpose which was to have a central place for their school belongings which helps to make mornings a little smoother. I would definitely recommend it for the price.

Customer Review :

Good value for the price : Prepac Fremont Espresso Cubbie Storage Bench
I bought this to put at the end of our bed in the expert bedroom. It fits in with the other furniture in our room, looks good and is what I expected for the price. Obviously it is not real wood but I plan on production a covered cushion to go on top of this so we can sit on it which will cover up most of the top anyway. I looked at many other storage bench or covered ottaman options and this was without fail the best value. Be right when you hammer in the plastic dowels as they don't need to be put all the way in. One has started to crack the other side which is the top of the bench but as a cushion is going to go over that, it doesn't matter but if I was planning on holding it as is, then this would be a problem.

Looks great in our mudroom : Prepac Sonoma 3-Cubbie Bench, Black
We were seeing for something to hang coats on and store outdoor gear in and this works great. My husband assembled the cubbie bench in no time. We also purchased colorful baskets to hold all of our stuff. So far it's working well.
